Welcome to BFR. We started out as a club that raced Vintage RC off-road at a track we built at the winners circle on Battlefield Parkway Ft.Oglethorpe, hence the name. When the Winners Circle could no longer host our track, many of us turned to racing road course. For the past several years BFR has raced at other tracks from Atlanta to Monteagle and as far north as Carbondale Il. We have also held many venues on temporary tracks, and at Churches and Car shows. We have even run a winter season on carpet in the Cafeteria of a retired elementary school. In the spring of 2007 One of our esteemed club members (Dion Potter) built a Class A off-road track at the recreation center in Rossville, GA. Since it had been a couple of years since BFR had an off-road track, Dion chose to name his track Battlefield Raceway.
Today we stand as a mixed club, part off road, part road course. Many of us do both, and some hardly get to race at all.Come and join us on the Forum. There's always a race to be found.
